Back by popular demand, the Glassnote CEO/Pres. Daniel Glass returns as a
guest to East Village Radio on On the Fly LIVE June 12th from 2-4pm!
Joined by Richard Gottehrer and Mark Josephson, the three will be talking
about the pioneering days of New York City Punk as heard, seen, and lived in
the East Village, CBGB's, Max's Kansas City, and The Mudd Club.
Richard Gottehrer is a legendary songwriter ("My Boyfriends Back" "I Want
Candy"), multi-platinum producer (Blondie, The Go-Go's, The Raveonettes),
and co-founder of Sire Records, whose roster included the Talking Heads, the
Ramones, and more.
Mark Josephson was the founder and president of Rockpool, a record pool
which dj's subscribed to in order to receive the latest import and domestic
alternative releases, which determined what got heard in the clubs and on
college radio. Mark also co-founded the legendary New Music Seminar.
