Gino’s – A Glassnote Restaurant Fave

If you haven’t been to Gino’s Italian Restaurant at 780 Lexington Avenue in NYC, you better change that quick! This old-time classic restaurant is sadly coming to a close this Saturday. I finally got to sample their tasty meals yesterday at a family-style lunch with the Glassnote team. It was a nice chance to spend some quality out of office time at this classic restaurant. Gino’s was opened 65 years ago, in April of 1945, and has been filling customer’s bellies since then.

The scrumptious meal we all ordered: a pasta dish called Paglia fiegno secreto, preceded by the chopped Gino’s salad and Stretchatella soup. I’d have to rank it as #1 among the lunches I’ve had since working here. The meal was so filling I didn’t even need dinner… and I don’t get full easily!

Here are some pictures of the Glassnote Staff at Gino's:

Less Tourist History and more Tourists, Presently

Two Door Cinema Club have just about wrapped up their six week North American tour and the boys took a little bit of well deserved time off in Boston this week to check out the sights and have a little bit of ice cream, naturally.

Here is the band posing in front of the statue of some guy named John Harvard.

The band joined by Nick, our esteemed Head of Radio, and a fan.

What flavor is that Sam, Butter Pecan?
